Resin is the craft that looks expensive even on a first weekend. Mix a 1:1 clear epoxy, tint it with ink or mica, pour into a silicone mould and leave it overnight. The result is a glass-like coaster, pendant or tray. Start with a small UK 1L kit (Craft Resin is the reliable workhorse), a coaster mould and a mini heat gun for bubbles. Once that pour comes out clear you can try deeper casts, dried flowers and geode edges.

Is Craft Resin food safe?
Once fully cured, Craft Resin is certified food-safe for incidental contact — useful for coasters and serving boards. Always follow the bottle instructions and cure time.
Coating resin or deep pour?
Coating / 1:1 kits are for thin layers and jewellery. Deep pour is for thicker casts and flowers. Do not pour a deep block with a coating resin.
Why is my piece cloudy?
Usually moisture, a rushed mix or a cold room. Mix slowly for 3 minutes, scrape the sides, and work above 20°C.
